Planning Permission

Planning Permission is usually required in respect of developments, most domestic extensions and for the construction of new houses, an application must be made to the appropriate Local Authority in the specified format comprising certain existing and proposed plans, elevations and drawings, together with the appropriate planning application forms and certificates duly completed with the relevant information.

Planning Permission is required so that the Local Authority retains control over certain extensions, alterations and development to ensure they are satisfied with the general appearance and aesthetics of the proposals and that they are applicable in the local environment and considered appropriate for the surrounding area.

We have a great deal of experience with planning applications and can provide advice, initial sketch proposals, the preparation of existing and proposed plans, elevations and details, design and access statements and the completion of the application forms and certificates on your behalf.
